Kids of Rhythm was founded by Alexandria, who brings over 12 years of experience working with children and a lifelong passion for music — from making beats as a child to teaching herself guitar, with plans to learn piano and flute.
We offer 30-minute weekly, evidence-based classes at preschools and daycares in Maryland and Virginia, bringing instruments and supplies for up to 20 children, including tambourines, maracas, scarves, and puppets. Designed for ages 0–6, each session features custom, kid-friendly songs in Pop, Latin, Country, Jazz, and more, helping children build confidence, character, social-emotional skills, and cultural appreciation. Each semester concludes with a free concert, where children proudly showcase their learning.
